I was born to write.
My best story is now.
It comes from me as a disciple and acting in obedience. I walk in the spirit with eyes given to me by God. I love in the heart that God has generously provided me. I am coming into by power and am making careful observations of our world. I listen to many messages about our Lord. Most seem to be pessimistic. I have been given instruction to write about our loving, grace-filled God…how there may be power you have yet to tap when you live within his spirit. The journey I am about to embark on is exhilarating. I typically do not ask God for anything, as I really don’t know what to ask for more than what He has provided me. Two weeks ago, I acknowledged I was low on energy. I came to him and asked him for sleep. He immediately moved in my favor and set in place opportunities for me to rest. I rested…I then became enlivened and empowered to pray stronger prayers and do the things that I meant to do. I made time for prayer and to listen for instruction. God was overflowing with direction without hesitation. All I had to do was listen. I tried to become sad, but he wouldn’t allow it, telling me all of the stories I’ve read in the Bible and how I couldn’t be surprised with the ways of the world.
I had to reply, “Yes, that’s true.”
And then He spoke to me with such an immediacy of, “Jennifer, there is work to do. I have made you a warrior. Please don’t concentrate yourself on the worries of the world…as you are not of it. Come to live in your spirit…where I am. I will carry you through the wars I need you for.”
And He told me to write.
Write right now.
